Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers has an immediate opening for a highly skilled administrative professional to step into our brand new role of Executive Assistant (EA) – EMEA.   For this role, you will be based out of Moerdijk, The Netherlands.

Duties Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Vice-President, Sales (SVP), you will primarily support the SVP of our European and Middle Eastern divisions, as well as providing secondary support to the regional Vice-Presidents and other members of the Sales Management team if needed.  You will encounter significant variety in your daily work within our fast-paced and exciting sales environment.
 
This is an ideal role for an experienced EA that is sales-minded and sales-focused since the SVP and the Sales Management team will heavily rely on you as their key point of contact.   Through your valuable contributions, you will help the Sales Management team to keep the business moving forward and growing.   

  1. Serving as the front line representative of the SVP’s office i.e. handling incoming phone calls for the SVP, welcoming visitors/customers etc;
  2. Reviewing and answering correspondence;
  3. Preparing and reconciling expense reports;
  4. Gathering input developing presentations;
  5. Drafting pre-meeting agendas briefings;
  6. Executing travel arrangements;
  7. Maintaining updating appointment schedules and calendars;
  8. Coordinating meetings, corporate functions and conferences;
  9. Preparing auction travel packages;
  10. Maintaining updating filing database systems.   

  1. Assist in organizing, drafting and providing input to Divisional Action Plans,
  2. Assist in the communication of the divisional strategic initiatives.
