Sales Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Hotel Sales Manager based in the Nottingham area to work in a constantly busy hotel, managing all aspects of the active and aggressive sales initiatives.
You will be supported by the General Manager and the area Director of Sales to add structure and direction to the team, focusing on individual targets, to help achieve the overall target for the year. You will be responsible for maximising hotel revenue and guest satisfaction by negotiating business with potential local and national clients. You will expected to complete targeted sales calls and appointments to maximise opportunities, increase sales and revenue levels.
As the Hotel Sales Manager your duties will include putting together a sales plan with clear objectives, managing existing clients and developing them, discussing marketing and marketing strategies, discussing and delivering promotions, monitoring market share and completing a competitor analysis, qualifying new leads, maximising all revenue opportunities, ensuring the sales database is kept up to date and used efficiently, liaising with the GM as to future business opportunities, putting together monthly reports, calculating rates, conducting weekly meetings and additional duties as per job spec.
To be successful in this role of Hotel Sales Manager you must have worked either as a Sales Manager or Sales Office Manager within the hospitality industry. You must have local knowledge and be able to penetrate the local corporate market. You must have excellent customer service and care skills, with exceptional understanding of the corporate market.
