The Sales Manager builds relationships internally and is responsible for developing deeper business relationships with our clients, focuses particular attention on leading the WEU sales organisation in focusing on developing solutions and selling strategic services to include any software and data centre solutions including Cloud Computing, Managed Services, Security Services, and System Integration offerings. Strategic services and solutions are characterised by a complex combination of technical, business, financial, and human resource issues related to the strategic and tactical direction of customers.

You must have strong leadership skills, the ability to operate in positions requiring significant self direction and motivation, and a proven track record in consultative selling solutions. In addition to broad knowledge and expertise in the IT industry, you need to demonstrate :
• the ability to further develop existing business and executive level client relationships, cultivate new relationships, align with IT and Business Groups to uncover opportunities and develop solutions.
• a detailed understanding of business finance and a high level of awareness of customers business / industry sector. Full understanding of how investment adds value to the business, how to produce a business case that delivers a compelling financial argument to purchase a solution/service offering, and understand how to apply a ROI model
• a detailed knowledge of functionality, features and benefits of IT products solutions and be capable of working independently on complex sales opportunities around servers, storage, SI and cloud computing IDC.
•Background with leading IT consulting company, managed services provider or telecommunications operator
•Excellent English and ideally one additional European language
