Sales Manager

Principal Responsibilities
- Encourage sales of NCO products and services through developing working relationships with Clients and potential Clients.
- Manage a sales team that sells NCO products and services through developing working relationships with clients and potential clients.
- Prospect and develop new business and penetrate the market for continued growth and expansion by introducing and marketing products and services NCO offers to Clients and potential Clients.
- Maintain existing Client relationships through up-selling of new and existing services.
- Maintain and upgrade the sales force database.
- Conduct presentations of services to existing Clients and future prospects.
- Collaborate with the Marketing, Information Technology, and Operations departments to develop and create sales plans for specific regions and territories.
- Maintain and exceed company objectives through sales goals.
- Attend trade shows and other educational and regional meetings.
- Ensure Clients receive and understand update reports in a timely manner.
- Act as a liaison between NCO's Information Technology and Operations departments and Clients.
- Respond to proposals and requests for information from prospective Clients.
- Manage Client expectations by ensuring Client receivables and fees are paid on time.
- Responsible for assisting new Clients with product implementation.
- Collaborate with Operations department with regards to setting Client fees.
- Responsible for successful operation of a specific Sales Region/Team by traveling to Client locations.
- Meet sales expectations set forth by potential Clients and service existing Clients to maintain a profitable relationship.
- Responsible for attracting and recruiting new Sales Staff to sell NCO services consistent with NCO processes and procedures.
- Responsible for respective department's overall performance and for motivating team to exceed department goals and objectives.
- Knowledge, understanding, compliance, and enforcement of all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations relating to job duties.
- Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with NCO policies and procedures.
- Participation in Company Programs must meet minimum performance standards.
- Accountable for all decisions, actions, and directives with respect to job responsibilities.
- Responsible for progressive discipline with regards to attendance, performance and all aspects of company policy up to and including termination.
- Follow up in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide feedback to management concerning possible problems or areas of improvement.
Make recommendations to implement improved processes.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in relevant work experience.
- 4 years of related sales/management experience required. 5+ years of related sales/management experience preferred.
- Business to Business sales experience preferred.
- Proficient personal computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, to prioritize and work in a multi-tasked environment.
- Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team fostered environment.
- Dependent upon position location, may be required to have a phone line, high-speed internet connection, Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox browsers, and current Windows operating system.
