Sales Manager
Our client is a highly successful and fast growing provider of financial market data products in APAC. We are looking for an exceptional Business Development Manager to join the Sales team and take responsibility for driving the entire sales process. Reporting to the Sales Director this is a client facing role best suited to someone with a track record in front line sales.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the full sales life-cycle including lead generation, targeted proposals, regular meetings with key stakeholders, product evaluation, contract negotiations and post sales implementation
- Gaining a comprehensive understanding of prospects/clients organizational structures, business requirements and data needs
- Ensuring contract execution with consistent commercial and legal terms
- Working closely with client services, account management and pre-sales functions to ensure successful client on-boarding
- Maintaining an active potential sales pipeline
- Providing competitor intelligence in addition to developing relationships with key partner firms and exchanges
What we are looking for:
- Degree in finance, business, commerce, marketing or a related field
- A track record of sales experience, ideally 3-5 years
- Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin would be highly advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal
- Logical approach to problem solving and ability to adapt in fast paced sales environment
- Team oriented and highly organized
