Sales Manager- Electrical Enclosures

 

JOB SUMMARY

 

I am searching for a Sales Manager for Electrical Enclosures to be located near San Francisco, CA.  This candidate is responsible for increasing customer preference for Electrical Enclosures in the assigned geographic region. The objectives are achieved through sales calls, specifications, training, follow-up in both the commercial industrial segments of our business within a given territory. The incumbent will also be responsible for training our local agent sales teams customers as it pertains to these products. The candidate will assist the product manager with customer feedback on new product development projects. In addition, they will be expected to formulate customer needs concerns into product specifications to be implemented by the appropriate product manager.  

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Develops maintains liaison with top management of key regional OEM Panel Shop accounts located within the territory. Ensure pull through in the sales channel by working with the sales management team partnering with key distribution personnel. Recommends appropriate product usage to customers. Selects suitable products from existing inventory proposes/develops new products to meet customer demand. Understands demonstrates the features benefits of the full line of enclosure products including training others on product usage applications. Inform the Division of product trends competitive conditions within the region. Recommends new or modified programs to ensure a competitive position is maintained within the sales territory. Recommends new or expanded products or markets, works to develop maintain brand awareness in the field. Trains our Sales Force on how to specify, sell, properly apply the products. Develop presents technical seminars for customers, sales personnel, distributors, specifying engineers, trade shows keeping the customer aware of the manufacturing capabilities including: design, fabrication assembly abilities. Accountable for providing technical support information to customers on a pre-sales post-sales basis for product application, specification, interpretation quotation support. Identify current future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential actual customers other persons in a position to understand service requirements.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

·         B. S. Degree, 3-5 years’ experience in the electrical industry.

·         Ability to travel 50% with flexibility on time requirements.

·         Ability to work independently from home office.

·         Excellent presentation communication skills with ability to think on your feet to field technical questions.

·         Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions.

·         Ability to learn, grow, deal with ambiguity change, with a strong bias towards action.

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

BS in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering a plus.

MBA is a plus

Prior experience with Electrical Enclosures a plus.
