Sales Manager – Energy Info Provider – London recruitment

My client is a global energy information provider who provides crucial stats, info and news to their clients world-wide on a daily basis. Their London office is currently looking for a Sales Manager to manage a team of around 7 account managers on their day to day and long term activities. This position will primarily be office based with some substantial client facing involved. You will be driving the KPI’s of your team and ensuring their potential is maximised and that their development is progressed through appraisals, training and coaching.

You and your team will be responsible for maintaining and developing key relationships with over 25 key clients and you will make sure that the portfolio and site growth remains successful and keeps growing. You will need to drive the team to plan ahead and ensure that they are working proactively with new and existing clients. Developing a relationship focussed culture is vitally important and proof that you have done this in the past will be essential.

You will have around 5 years people / team management experience and experience in B2B selling. My client is focused on finding the perfect manager for their team as this is an integral role which will make a major impact in the coming year. You will need to have long term strategic development and implementation skills from you previous roles and experience of dealing with director level clients. Exceptional sales skills and an excellent communicator are preferable. Energy experience essential!
