PACKAGE: £25-36000 BASE + CAR + 30-50% BONUS POTENTIAL+ EXCELLENT BENEFITS

TERRITORY COVERAGE will be EAST ANGLIA REGION (therefore it is vital to live in/around these areas as the role will involve regular travel to clients/new business prospects in this area)

Our client a major global player in the financial services space are looking for an experienced Sales/Business Development professional with knowledge of cards gained through any of the following areas Business and Commercial Banking, Cards acquiring and/or payment processing company. The business is highly successful and a market leader, now implementing expansion offering excellent opportunities for career progression.

This role will involve regular travel to clients within the region-willingness to travel/ is therefore essential. Company Car will be provided and valid Driving License is required

Reporting into the Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible for:

· Delivering new income from the selling of products to new Business and Commercial SME businesses

· Manage Customer, Business Commercial Bank expectations in all risk areas

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with the Business Commercial Banking team and to encourage joint prospecting and lead generation

· Generate new business by 'prospecting' and 'cold calling'

· Assist the area team in achieving their targets of New Business Income, Business Commercial signings target, Bank leads to Business Commercial Banking

Experience Required:

· Strong track record in sales/business development gained in the finance industry with experience in any of the following areas: the Card Acquisition / Business and Commercial Banking /Payment Processing

· Knowledge of the Card industry and the card acquisition process is essential

Skills Required:

· Strong negotiation skills-ability to talk and negotiate at commercial and initial technical levels

· Strong presentation skills-ability to present to the Board

· Driving license is required as well as willingness to travel regularly within the region (around Suffolk/Cambridge)
