Sales Manager is responsible for signing new business identified from a agreed vertical sales pipeline and will also be responsible for identifying individual companies that also may be targeted. Role will include:
To prioritise the vertical pipeline and qualify prospects through territory planning, Be responsible and accountable for a agreed revenue target within the Retail vertical, Support and work closely with the Sales Director in the production of the vertical pipeline, Update sales reporting tolls. Support cross functional teams in sales process for new business, Proactive identification of new prospects, support the business case development and prioritisation of product initiatives, Support RFI/RFP responses. Explain and present complicated products to customers and account teams, achieve targeted objectives
Job Specific Responsibilities Candidate Requirements
- Knowledge of Retail vertical with the ability to hit the ground running
- Understanding of integrated IPOS systems and solutions
- Knowledge of DCC, Tax free and pre paid product offerings
- Business Acumen with the ability to provide solutions that drive positive results to the customer
- Analytical skills and application thereof
- Sales and marketing skills and experience.
- Product Development experience is desirable
- Team player, excellent inter-personal skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Good presentation skills
- Ability to work in an ambiguous environment
- Self starter and motivator
- Ability to liaise and support various disciplines (planning finance, sales, marketing, technology) and function in an unstructured environment with minimum day to day supervision
