Basic Salary:                             £28,000 (some scope for exceptional candidate)

 

Bonus Scheme:                         The bonus scheme is made up of branch and individual sales targets based on sales, profit and promotion achievements.

Principle Responsibilities:        Our client is looking to open a new branch in Edinburgh during Feb 2012 consisting of 6-8 internal external sales staff. They are actively looking to recruit for two positions

 

1.    Divisional Business Manager who will take full responsibility for the day to day operational running of the branch.

 

2.    Sales Manager who will be responsible for an External Sales team, as well as developing business within the area.

 

Successful candidate who joins before Feb 2012 would initially work out of the Glasgow branch (currently covering the Edinburgh area)

 

Ideal Candidate:                      

 

·         You will be an experienced manager with proven experience in External Sales in the past.

·         Previous experience gained within an industrial distribution environment is essential, and specific experience of our main product categories such as Tools, PPE or abrasives is highly advantageous (experience in fixing and fastenings would be seen as highly advantageous)

·         You must display excellent communication skills, and demonstrate excellent selling, presentation and negotiation skills

·         You will be a self-motivated and outgoing person, with natural sales ability 

·         You will have good IT skills, as you will be expected to create, utilize and monitor reports, and liaise with both customers and colleagues at all levels.

·         Excellent business skills and the ability to plan and manage all budgets.
