GENERAL SUMMARY:
Elite Marketing Interactions, a subsidiary of Daymon Interactions, provides high quality in-store product interactions and special event marketing services to Meijer, Inc. customers, with intent of improving sales through promoting product trial in a friendly, professional style. We are currently seeking a Sales Manager to join our ever growing team.
The Sales Manager will be accountable to establish relationships with strong customer focus and collaborate with retail partner and Scheduling Coordinators in order to focus on customer service while driving sales; corroborate with the Director of Operations and Corporate management in the creation, implementation and execution of processes, sales initiatives and strategies; manage internal and external relationships; manage the daily activities of the retail account and lead sales in targeted categories.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate with Director of Operations to create, develop and implement sales strategy for the account.
• Track and meet budgeted sales targets by category; partnering with the Director of Operations and Corporate Management to ensure priorities are identified and deadlines set to meet the desired results;
• Create, implement and monitor sale benchmarks such as written sales, average sale, traffic, close ratio and staffing; provide department analysis reporting percentages and volume on a monthly basis.
• Participate in the Retail Store’s weekly Ad meetings, Buyer meetings and annual sales planning meetings.
• Review and analyze event performance and category penetration; compare results against established objective and provide recommendations to the retail store Buyers and Vendors regarding appropriate course of action.
• Seek and engage the Operations Team for their insight on plans and proposed projects; provide sales team leadership with timely updates as required; support and develop staff; manage staff to include training, maintaining sales quotas and developing goals as well as conducting performance reviews.
• Review retail sales goals and implement strategy to reach goals; work with internal and external customers regarding sales issues; review daily sale orders.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Ten (10) years of related sales experience with strong customer focus, preferably CPG, including a minimum of five (5) years of managing people; ability to multi-task with changing priorities; demonstrated ability to plan and utilize team building skills; Bachelor of Arts degree in Business, Finance or related discipline, required; Master of Arts degree in Business, Finance or related discipline, a plus;

• Successful completion of a criminal background check, reference verifications and pre-employment drug screen that meet company standards are conditions of employment for this position.
