Georgia-Pacific is currently seeking a Sales Manager for our corrugated box facility in Owosso,
Ideal candidates will have 7-10 years of Sales experience including strong supervisory/leadership experience, and knowledge of the
Responsibilities will include:
· Managing and developing a team of 4 Sales/Account Representatives, Customer Service and a Designer
· Interacting with Regional Sales team to maximize profits for the Region
· Qualifying new prospects and developing new business to increase customer base and sales/profits
· Growing profitable volume and improving margins in the packaging plant
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 7-10 years of experience in Sales, to include supervisory/leadership experience
- Corrugated/Packaging industry experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated track record of sales growth and quota attainment
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Business Development, Product Pricing, Account Management, Market Analysis, Product Knowledge, Product Line and Brand Management, and Sales/Marketing Forecasting.
