Seafood Distribution Sales Manager – Portland, OR

 

Ocean Beauty Seafoods is looking for a Sales Manager to join our team in Portland, OR. We need a highly motivated, organized, resourceful self-starter with professional seafood sales and management experience. The ideal candidate will have established professional relationships in the Portland area.

Position requires:

·         Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills with general business practices.

·         Knowledge of food service and retail as it relates to distribution.

·         Attention to detail and a record of success in representing perishables.

·         Strong work ethic and ability to close new business. 

·         Manage the sales team; assisting them reaching their goals and objectives.  

·         Manage the business development; acquiring new customers

·         Provide excellent customer service

·         Continuously seek out opportunities to increase financial results.

 

 

Job duties will include:

·         Oversee and Manage sales reports.

·         Solicit new customers and build existing accounts.

·         Hire, supervise, train and develop sales members.

·         Proficient at making sales presentations internally and externally.

Minimum 3 years of Seafood Sales management experience. Must have the management experience to work well under pressure, be able to prioritize tasks, and remain flexible to meet multiple deadlines. Must have above intermediate Word, Excel, Outlook experience as well as great communication skills.
