Under general direction, the purpose of the position is to enforce company policies and procedures, company philosophies, and company expectations. Leaders in this classification supervise sales and customer service work. Position is responsible for greeting patients, assist patients with purchase of eyewear, negotiate prices of eyewear, and to manage support center reporting, establishing and monitoring store budgets, conducting sales and marketing analysis, and supervising store personnel. Performs related work as directed.

A typical day for the Retail Sales Manager would be to monitor each individual retail transactions while also being part of the sales process. This position requires continuous communication from the retail sales manager to the sales staff that consistent of insuring the Stanton Optical Transaction process is being executed. Daily the retail sales manager would review walkouts missed opportunities w/the retail staff. The sales manager will be required to meet the productivity numbers outlined while maintaining a customer service score of 87 or greater.
