Sales Manager – Latin America

My client is looking for an enthusiastic individual with a real desire to business develop their presence in the Latin American market. You must have excellent language skills being fluent in English and Spanish with at least good knowledge of Portuguese.

This role involves a number of important responsibilities including:

- Performing marketing and sales activities in its broadest sense to generate and retain business;

- Meeting and exceeding sales targets to help grow the business;

- Market and promote (new) products and services and cross sell existing services;

- Prepare client proposals for review;

- Assist in developing marketing material;

- Keep sales force and any other relevant tool up to date and perform regular follow up on pipeline;

- Train other sales force members where needed;

- Work closely with the global sales team and participate in regular meetings.

With a role of this nature the following person profile would be an ideal fit:

- A number of years experience in a business development / sales capacity in the professional services industry;

- Excellent knowledge of fund services with focus on, but not limited to, hedge funds;

- Extensive knowledge on market participants in the investment fund markets as well as the full suite of services offered;

- Willingness to travel between office locations within Latin America;

- Excellent language skills with fluency in English, Spanish and at least good knowledge of Portuguese;

- Relevant education at University level or equivalent;

- A service minded, pro-active, self-motivated and result oriented individual;

- Excellent organizational capabilities in order to multi task and work with competing pressures in a dynamic environment;

- Ability to work well alone and also as part of a global team.
