Sales Manager- Outbound recruitment

We are currently recruiting a Sales Manager- Outbound, this role will report to the Head of Sales Marketing and will take responsibility for driving sales and customer outcomes via Outbound telemarketing, including vendor management of 3rd parties as well as managing the implementation of various insurance campaigns. The role will manage the implementation of scripting, training, sales tools and incentives across these channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales campaigns and initiatives across Insurance distribution outbound telemarketing teams.
- Manage process with marketing to ensure the monthly data delivery to Outbound call centres
- Manage sales outcomes via 3rd party insurance telemarketing vendors to achieve sales and customer outcomes and other key KPI’s
- Regular monitoring of 3rd party vendors, including CPO sales call monitoring with a view to achieving sales and customer metrics.
- Co-ordinate script, training and sales tool development with the Sales Manager, Inbound Digital.
- Monitor daily sales results against agreed KPI’s and implement actions to improve sales performance.
- Work with 3rd party vendor to ensure reporting and invoicing information is supplied as per agreed SLA’s.
- Manage and evolve operational activities with insurance partners
- Contribute towards the achievement of Insurance revenue targets via improvements in offer rate and conversion rates, as well as reduced attrition
Experience/ Qualifications required:
- Previous experience working in a sales team, specifically managing outbound telemarketing campaigns preferably insurance related.
- Knowledge of mortgages and wealth’s insurance related products and channels
- Well developed organisational and project management skills and a proven record of delivering under strict timelines and juggling multiple tasks
- Good knowledge of Insurance purpose, processes and procedures.
- Ability to work within deadlines and understand ‘sense of urgency’
- Developed technology skills – Excel, Word and Power Point
