Sales Manager – Pharmaceutical

  1. The Sales Manager will work out of his/her home office.  Candidates must have experience in at least one of the following:

-          Experience selling capsules within pharmaceutical

OR

-          Experience selling APIs (active pharmaceutical ingredients) or excipients

OR

-          Experience selling softgels or similar

 

  1. Candidates must live in the southeastern United States.  Ideal regions are North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Virginia.  

 

  1. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience. 

 

  1. Scientific or technical degree highly preferred.  MBA a plus. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

-                Prepares Annual Budget for the territory and achieves targeted sales volumes.

-                Ensures price realization.

-                Ensures collection from the customer as per the credit terms

-                Ensures customer satisfaction by providing appropriate customer service.

-                Obtains / updates market information of the customers and competitors, to enable frame appropriate marketing strategy.

-                Identifies potential customers and develops them for commercial supplies.

-                Overnight travel will be about 10 days a month
