Sales Manager – SBB – London recruitment
This senior position is responsible for building and maintaining a world-class sales organization, and for formulating and achieving SBB-Platts' short-term and strategic business, customer, and sales goals for the Europe/Middle East/Africa region. The role manages sales and customer service executives.
Key responsibilities:
- Consistently meet and exceed regional sales goals and otherstrategic objectives
- Drive the majority of net sales growth through new customer acquisition and customer retention by both value/volume
- Constantly drive activity and performance KPIs to increase productivity of sales team
- Recruit, train, develop and motivate the sales team, including selling and managing certain accounts personally
Skills
- Previous experience selling and/or managing sales in an electronic/digital subscriptions environment.
- Must demonstrate achievement or exceeding of company sales goals in a succession of years.
- Knowledge of the steel/metals industries desirable but not essential
- Should demonstrate quick learning of new markets and ability to grasp what the information and intelligence needs of key industry participants are
- Previous budget preparation and pipeline management experience
- Strong communication, motivation, management and planning skills
- At least a college degree or equivalent
