Sales Manager/Director recruitment

My client is a boutique equities manager with an excellent track record running both hedge fund and long only investment products. They have an excellent track record of outperformance dating back over many years and have successful sold their products to investors in Germany. It is on the back of this success that they have decided to open an office in Frankfurt and are looking for a sales person to represent them to clients in the region.

Your role will be to raise assets from clients based in Germany, you will have free reign to talk to both institutional and 3rd party clients however they feel that they are most likely to win assets from fund of funds, asset managers, private banks and family offices so having a network within those clients will be an advantage.

The role requires:

• Experience working within a sales function in the asset management industry in Germany

• German and English language skills

• An existing client base of German investors, ideally but not necessarily with 3rd party clients

• You must be prepared to work with a company who focus on Equities

My client offers a stable and very profitable business environment, a good basic salary and pay bonuses of 1.5 to 3 times salary.
