This position is open in our Transportation Division of RLI Corp, insuring tractor-trailer, bus, and commercial auto exposures.
Job Description:
- Coordinate new agent/broker relationships and meetings
- Assist in the development of point of sale literature and materials
- Manage agent/broker and insured mailings and surveys
- Coordinate all contracting and licensing of agencies with the home office
- Spearhead the Agent and Potential Insured Database project
- Coordinate industry and associating trade show activities
- Contact potential clients by utilizing mailing, phone solicitation, and e-mail
- Coordinate the development and inventory control of all brochures and collateral materials
- Support Product/Program Managers efforts to promote their program with agents and insured
- Coordinate travel arrangements
- Complete expense reports
- Maintain managers calendars
- Assist with company event coordination
- Provide administrative support to the Branch Vice-President and other Managers
Required Skills
- Must be aggressive/assertive
- Self-starter with the ability to influence others
- Effective presentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to multi-task on multiple projects
- Graphic Design and Layout experience is a plus
Required Experience
- Bachelors degree (with minimum 3.0 GPA)
- 2 – 5 years administrative support; marketing experience is a plus
- Expense reporting
- Coordination travel and accommodations
- Prior transportation industry or insurance experience is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Power Point
