We have an immediate opening for a detail-oriented, organized Sales Marketing Assistant to work independently from our satellite office in Peoria, IL to support to our sales team, broker community and customers throughout Illinois.

The Opportunity
Partner with our dynamic and fast paced sales and marketing staff, and other departments as needed, to ensure successful sales and marketing efforts,
Updating quote based off applications in order to submit to medical underwriting,
E-mail broker/assistants to obtain missing information needed to proceed with case for medical rates,
Review and process member applications, and
Take ownership for group set up and system installation of new and renewal commercial groups

Strong phone, e-mail and personal customer service skills for effective communication with all levels of internal and external customers.
Familiarity and experience in the health insurance industry is helpful.
Initiative and analytical ability to research and resolve issues in a professional and expedient manner.
Word/Excel and main frame system experience. Word processing speed of 55-65 wpm when appropriate.
