Job Role
If you are a telesales / telemarketing person and want to make the step into marketing then this job could be perfect for you.
Working for a global software firm at their European headquarters you will work closely with the Marketing Manager to support their day to day activities.
This will encompass
• Telemarketing - taking customer enquiries to a point where the sales team can get involved
• Events - organising a running them for new and existing customers across UK and Europe
• Marketing Collateral - developing specific customer proposals as well as company-wide literature
• Sales Workshops - target customers, devise the event and host it.
The Candidate
You will need to have some experience in a telesales / telemarketing environment, preferably in the software sector but this is not vital.
What is important though is that you have a stable background, are a 'down to earth' individual with exceptional organisational skills.
You will also need some exposure to marketing - either as part of your job or because you have a degree / diploma in it.
