SALES & MARKETING MANAGER (M/F) Job in Luxembourg 1331
THE JOB:
This is an opportunity for you to create and maintain strong relationships with top retail and channel partners across Europe, ensuring the Company is doing all it needs to and more from a content sales perspective.
You ensure that our partners have the support they need to drive content sales. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will:
• Work with our major bookseller partners across the EU to drive content sales for the Company and our partners
• This role is part external account manager, part internal project manager, and part sales; you will work with our partners to identify product and content issues that will grow sales or are holding back sales in each territory, and then work with the internal merchandising or product/development teams to provide solutions and grow sales
• Work with our Content Merchandising team to ensure that we offer our partners the most dynamic collection of content available
• Keep track of, and report on, existing content sales programs and results by geography and by platform on a daily and on a weekly basis
• Work with the global marketing team to ensure that all marketing efforts are available for our EU territory partners and are executed
• As needed, develop custom marketing programs for the EU to drive user growth and content sales
THE CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Bachelors degree or certificate in a marketing, sales, business or related program; Masters a plus
• 5+ years of relevant industry expertise, specifically with retail marketing and program or account management experience • Project management experience
• No fear of owning a sales target • International experience a must, with the ability to travel when required
• Knowledge of the media and publishing industries a definite asset • Ability to work in a fast-paced, driven environment
• You thrive in ambiguity and love problem solving
• Strong relationship-building skills with a proven track record of working with both internal and external partners
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for virtual communication in particular
• Written and verbal communication skills in English mandatory; French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese or Dutch a positive
