Sales & Marketing Role recruitment
Job Responsibilities:
- Establish strong knowledge of fund distribution with retail channels, private banks, financial advisory firms and platforms services.
- Acquire and identify new businesses relating to private banks distributors in the South East Asian Region (including Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Brunei, Indonesia).
- Service existing relationships with private banks and distributors in the South East Asian region.
- Manage global sales effort with counter parties from the South East Asian region to drive the business with global private banks and distributors.
- Respond to requests and requests for proposals for information from investment counselors and product gatekeepers.
- Participate in the planning of sales target and marketing budget, forecasting and revenue and yield from fund sales.
- Sell and distribute a comprehensive product range consisting of exchange–traded funds, structured funds, conventional mutual funds, absolute return funds and Syariah products etc.
- Participate in joint product development with distributors.
Job Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent with a minimum of 4 – 8 years of experience in asset management industry
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong understanding of intermediary sales process, including relationships of our client/prospect to end clients, various roles within sales force, and differing corporate/branch requirements
- Strong understanding of financial marketplace and distribution process, including in-depth knowledge of how products are priced, packaged, and positioned across varying segment channels
- Fluent in English and Chinese, both conversational and written
