BACKGROUND:
Finesse Solutions, Inc. provides novel measurement and control solutions to life science customers. We are currently recruiting an Order Administration Manager at our San Jose, CA location. Great opportunity at a growing company.
The Sales Order Administrator will be responsible for purchase order review, customer returns, and demonstration system inventory management. Will work with the Sales department, Operations department and Accounting group to ensure sales orders are processed accurately, from point of order entry through delivery to the customer. Will also generate sensor quotes in Intuitive for the worldwide sales group as support.
ROLE:
- Review and troubleshoot all purchase orders to ensure sales order integrity and accuracy prior to sales order entry
- Correspond with customers and sales force regarding queries, including stock availability and estimated delivery dates
- Will generate quotes for private label sensor products
- Advise sales team and customer of any concerns impeding successful shipment
- Administers RMA process and works with shipping/receiving
- Manage demo pool issuances and returns
- Manage marketing inventory
- Continually review procedures, update policies, and look for automation opportunities to maximize efficiencies
- Creates, maintain, and tracks all service work orders (including reminders for PM calls)
- Administrative support for sales (tradeshow support, emergencies)
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience in sales order administration, with preferable experience in managing the full end to end sales cycle.
- Must have ERP system experience and strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel)
- Strong interpersonal, analytical and leadership skills are required
- Strong attention to detail accuracy while maintaining a high throughput of work
- Must be professional and articulate
- Confident in dealing with internal staff and external parties
- Flexible team player that is takes pride in meeting deadlines
- Aptitude for numbers and data analysis essential
