Reports to: Sr. Director, East Coast
BASIC FUNCTION:
Reporting to Sr. Director, East Coast, the Sales Coordinator will support the sales team with pre-sales and post-sales activities and work closely with the comScore Custom Marketing Solutions team to research potential new business opportunities to forge relationships with new and existing clients.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES:
• Learn the entire sales process from lead generation through proposal writing, rate negotiation, and contract execution
• Research new business opportunities through proprietary data
• Qualify leads with potential clients
• Conduct product overviews
• Assist in data processing and delivery
• Compile current clients from other departments to research up-sell opportunities
• Pull reports, help with decks, write proposals and engage in prospecting
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 4 year college degree in communications, marketing, or business
• 1-4 years of job experience in one of the following industries: Internet, Advertising Agency, Publishing, or Marketing
• Ideal candidate should be analytical and have an understanding of advertising effectiveness research
• Experience working with Quantitative and Qualitative research
• Must be able to work in a team environment as well as work independently
• Background in Sales of Account Management a plus
• Proactive problem solving skills
• Strong PC skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
