The COMPANY
Our client is an energy company having a predominant position inSwitzerland. Focused on future energy, innovation and development, this successful group is always looking for successful staff and performer.
In order to reinforce the Portfolio Management team, they are looking for a Portfolio Manager sales profile who will work closely with the quant team.
The purpose of the role is to be in charge of your own books and PL.
The ROLE
You will support the Head of the department and your main duties will be:
- Responsible for the pricing and product structuring for the wholesale customers and distributors
- Development of specific approaches in portfolio management (for the clients and for the group), in collaboration with the trading (support to the trading system)
- Ensure daily operational management of your portfolio's books
- Monitor the position and hedging
- Optimization of the portfolio gain distribution
- PL responsibility
- Regular contact with your customers
- Ad hoc participation in projects
The REQUESTED PROFILE
- You have a university degree (ETHZ or similar), Master level with a quantitative background - technical, mathematical or economics
- You can show solid professional experience in a similar environment (knowledge of the energy industry)
- Good knowledge in finance, accounting logic as well as influence mechanisms on the PL
- Able to be in charge of your own books, you are self-starter and you have a strong business sense
- You speak fluently German and English
- You are IT literate, Matlab knowledge
- You have a Swiss permit, Swiss passport or EU passport
