This is a fantastic opportunity for you to step into a unique sales role at an expanding and long established  global orthopaedics company. Your next role could be with this multi-billion dollar manufacturer of specialist, orthopaedic implants, instruments and accessories, and you will be given a specific group of hospitals  and surgeons to target in Qld,  plus an exciting and large portfolio to sell from.

You will be calling into new  accounts and surgeons  whilst also calling on existing business  to drive sales activity and revenue growth ( with a strong orientation towards opening new accounts / account  conversions ), and there is exceptional opportunity to be well rewarded for exceeding your targets within your own personal account portfolio. This is a dynamic and demanding multi-step sales process, with regular sales calls required to develop relationships with prospective customers leading to you gaining commitment to trial products in theatre and work on account conversions proactively. This environment whilst not purely "9-5" is well supported by a large clinical support team who assist in covering some case's leaving you to primarily focus on the business development and supporting key customers.

Your earnings are uncapped, and once you hit your target you are put onto an accelerated commission plan that will enable you to earn significantly more than $44k each year on target if you are successful and thirsty for more rewards.  It's an environment that the more you are prepared to put into the role the more you can gain from this.

This opportunity will suit someone who wants to establish a hugely rewarding career within a market leading, global orthopaedics business and who enjoys the challenge of growing a sales territory proactively and is willing to share both the risk and reward as the incentives are uncapped but variable. You control your income growth through your efforts, tenacity and abilities.

You can come from any orthopaedics or  related medical device sales background (surgical implantable devices are highly preferred) and the key factors to success are your sales ability, communication skills and above all your attitude.  You will be able to demonstrate growing your territory through proven Territory Management skills and new business development activities.  You will be able to demonstrate how you work with customers to deliver an effective value proposition and service their requirements ( some out of hours / weekend case coverage ), plus your ability to close and secure the business.

An ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate an ability to acquire, retain and impart complex and highly detailed technical information about your products relating to the surgical procedure, the product features and competitive advantage and be able to use this information intra-operatively by reading the situation and understanding the relationship between the surgeon and theatre team.

You must be also able to show a stable employment history and exceptional sales results including how you achieved them.  Full product training will be provided initially and ongoing throughout your career with this company  and if you are looking for a hugely rewarding environment where there will be significant organic growth through new products -  then few other roles in the market can provide this right now.

You will be rewarded with a salary package circa $150k OTE including fantastic sales incentives (backed by thorough product training) and the opportunity to work for a very well known, well respected and hugely successful orthopaedic business.
