Duties and Responsibilities

As sales and relationship manager you will be part of the client relationship team and it will be your responsibility to manage a number of accounts across Germany and other German speaking countries. You will also be developing new business opportunities and work to exceed sales targets.

Day to Day responsibilities will include:

• Enlarge the client and prospect base while retaining existing clients

• Actively identify develop new business opportunities, cold calling to generate new opportunities.

• Negotiate agreements and close sales

• Contribute to planning events, presenting the business at trade exhibitions, events and directly to clients.

• Visit clients and potential clients to maintain the relationship and new business prospects.

• Understand the market and the competitors

Requirements

• Successfully completed a university degree or equivalent qualification

• Ideally at least 4 years experience in account management/client relationship management

• Understanding of Operations/Back Office or background from that area

• Fluency in English and German

• Strong networking skills

• Proven track record in sales and relationship management role within the financial services industry

• Willing to continue developing own market knowledge and sales skills

• Able to work well under pressure, prioritising workload to meet deadlines

• A customer focused person who is eager to sell

• Willing to travel

• Able to communicate at all levels both within and outside the organisation
