First Aid Sales and Service Sales Rep for Cintas

Job Description:

Provide a high level of customer service and sell the complete First Aid Safety product line to FAS customers.  Develop sales by using the tools and skills learned through FaStart Training and SERVICE SALES REPS College. Constantly exceed customer expectations.  Operate all equipment and perform work in a safe manner and in accordance with all safety policies.

 Service Responsibilities:

Service Sales Reps are required to maintain customer’s first aid and safety programs.

-  Competitive Urgency: Respond to all customer requests with “competitive urgency”.

-  Developing Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with multiple contacts within each customer including the primary decision maker, and users of products and services to ensure we remain their supplier of choice.

-  Problem Solving:  Analyze customers’ workplace conditions and offer products and services to help address product and training needs.

-  Service Routing:  Service customers on schedule as determined by the service frequency established by the customer and local management.

 

-  First Aid Product Service:  Clean, organize and restock first aid supplies, replacing expired products and products opened and potentially contaminated. Advise customer of products being replaced and invoice the customer for services rendered and/or products replaced. Obtain customer signature on the invoice at the time of service.

 

-  Safety Services:  Check safety equipment to determine need for service (i.e. eyewash stations, oxygen, AED’s). Advise customer of needs and provide services or arrange for service. Invoice the customer for services rendered and obtain a signature on the invoice.

 

Sales Responsibilities:

Service Sales Reps are required to increase sales to existing customers and to obtain new customers.

-  Upsell Existing Customers: Introduce new products to meet customer needs, provide information regarding training and compliance programs, and determine safety product needs based on workplace hazards, providing safety product quotes to obtain additional business. Provide training leads to OSI. Service Sales Reps should fulfill this requirement by becoming well versed in Cintas FAS complete line of product and service offerings  and providing this information to customers in an appropriate manner.

 

-  New Customers:  Prospect for new customers. Obtain leads and referrals through existing customer relationships, provide sales leads to local Sales Manager for follow up, Sell new accounts where appropriate (i.e. on-the-spot sales, construction sites, add-on cabinets etc.)

Other Job Responsibilities

-  Customer Training: Provided the Service Sales Rep has the knowledge and certification, he/she may be required to train customers on CPR, First Aid and other safety compliance programs.

-  On-the-Job-Training: Actively participate in all on-the-job training. It is the Service Sales Rep’s responsibility to use the skills and knowledge provided through FaStart, Service Sales Rep College and local Skill Development training to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.

-  Portable Route Computer (PRC):  Service Sales Rep’s are required to be proficient in using the PRC for maintaining updated customer information, van inventory information, scheduling service and correct invoicing of customers for services rendered. 

-  Competition: Stay abreast of competitive activity within the territory. Report competitive activity to local management. Be familiar with competitor products, pricing, service offerings and be able to distinguish the differences between our products and services and competitor products and services. 

-  Documentation:  Complete all paperwork and reports as required. Provide accurate invoicing and accounting of services rendered to customers and as required for the branch’s reporting requirements. 

-  Safety:  Comply with all customer safety requirements while on the customers’ premises. (i.e. safety glasses, hard hats, gloves, jewelry etc.) Comply with all safety training and requirements for working and operation of company vans. Maintain a clean, neat van at all times. Comply with all safety laws and company policy regarding the safe operation of company vehicles. 

-  Attend job related meetings, training and quarterly inventory assignments on Saturday as assigned.

-  General mechanical aptitude - Install first aid cabinets and safety equipment.
