Sales Representative - Promotional Products: # Position Summary Entry level sales trainee position, intended to groom a future sales representative to deploy in pre-identified market that needs or will need, an additional sales representative in the future. The Brand Solutions Manager (BSM) will focus on account management/account retention with a daily reliance upon internal support teams as a way to learn. Individual must have a thorough understanding of the industry and company in order to effectively support a group of customers, become a trusted advisor and execute sound business decisions while helping meet customer needs. Primary Responsibilities: Brand Solutions Manager will be required to complete a 12-month training program, executing pre-determined developmental milestones to show aptitude and skill-set necessary to do the job. Upon completion of the training, the Brand Solutions Manager needs to be able to effectively: - Demonstrate competencies necessary to function independently and drive revenue - Lead a sale from beginning to end, locate and drive business - Conduct client research meetings and business reviews - Participate in creative exercises for existing and prospective customers - Develop a penetration strategy for an existing client - Write a Strategic Sales Plan taking into account personal and corporate goals Reporting into the Sales Director the Brand Solutions Manager will mentor under a seasoned sales representative and during the training period may be given direct selling responsibility for current customers as determined by the Sales Director. Brand Solutions Manager may interact with Field Sales Department; Account Services and Customer Service; Special Order Department; Creative/Marketing; Merchandising and Inventory; Billing, Finance and IT.
