SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Our Nisku client is looking to grow their sales team. There is unlimited potential that would only be capped by your effort and performance. This role will require extensive cold calling in the hunt for new business along with account management. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Meeting and exceeding profitability and company revenue goals.
- Incremental revenue growth by prospecting and closing new customers in the construction or oil gas business
- Increase revenue from existing accounts through customer development.
- strong collaborative team approach to identify customer needs and deliver customized solutions based on those needs.
- Exemplary customer service that ensures customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Continually share industry field and market intelligence with all internal stakeholders in regards to industry trends.
- Participate in sales related activities including conferences, trade shows, and other promotional events.
The successful candidate must have the following skills, qualifications and competencies:
- 3+ years of sales success in construction or oil gas industry
- Large book of industry contacts an absolute must
- Business degree an asset
- Cold calling should be a welcomed challenge not a burden
- Driven and focused on results
- Enjoys collaborating with a positive and focused team
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an outgoing and energetic personality
- Highly effective problem solving and negotiation skills to drive the business forward
- Self manager willing to go that extra mile
- Solid time management and organizational skills to ensure efficient and effective delivery of all product/services

- Excellent communication skills
- A proactive self-starter who can operate as part of a team and individually.
- Proficient with Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook)
Compensation/Benefits:
