The Sales Representative (SR) is primarily responsible for the identification and development of new commercial, institutional service customers and especially to focus on developing sales utilizing the AMS GSA schedule. The SR is responsible for new service agreements-especially preventative maintenance contracts, negotiated service work and project sales with new customers.

Duties include:
· Identifying, qualifying and closing with government agencies that have the ability to work with a preferred provider on a negotiated basis, utilizing our GSA contract.
· Consulting with management to include establishing rapport, identifying needs, delivering professional sales presentations, overcoming objections and effective closing.
· Generating proposals that satisfy the client’s needs and achieve AMS profit objectives.
· Offering a wide variety of HVAC services including preventative maintenance contracts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience: In selling HVAC work in GSA contract environment.  Educational requirements are: 1) a four year degree, 2) a two year associates degree with at least two years commercial sales experience, or 3) minimum five years commercial outside sales experience. Must possess superior interpersonal skills, negotiation skills and communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be computer literate in word processing and spreadsheets. Previous HVAC field service a big plus. A valid driver’s license is a must. Must be able to climb ladders and stairs to access mechanical room equipment and rooftop equipment for surveys.
