American Air Liquide offers industrial gases and related services to a variety of customers including those in large industry, industrial manufacturing, electronics and healthcare marketplaces.

Position Description:

Job Responsibilities:

Locate prospective customers through:
•Cold calling
•Lead follow-up
•Referrals
•New grant lists
•New construction
•New needs with existing customers

Provide prospective customer with:
•Literature
•Demo equipment
•Price quotes
•References
•Manufacturers gifts/ samples
•Product comparisons

Follow up with prospective customers:
•Ensure no questions have been unanswered no objections have been formed

Take orders:
•Forward on to appropriate manufacturers
•If Pacific Science, write order up, record our cost part number through manufacturer, record our sell price for each individual item
•Note any special handling requirements

Monitor orders:
•Get back to end user purchasing on delivery time. Confirm type of delivery, i.e. lift gate
•Follow up with the manufacturer to ensure order is not lost, buried or held up
•Keep customer apprised of order delays/ conflicts/ problems

Install requirements (when necessary):
•Uncrate, put in place, set up, give in-service, support forever

Service:
•Coordinate with Service Department repairs and service contracts.

Other items:
•Ship demo equipment
•Hold product shows
•Respond to emergency problems
•Perform maintenance repairs
•Keep current on our new equipment that of our competitors
•Monthly activity reports to the management
