Position Description:
Reports to the Sales Manager and is responsible for profitable sales growth within assigned Divisional sales territory. The Sales Representative sells PHSS (Preparedness, Health Services and Safety) products and services to new customer accounts through face to face relationship building and outbound phone calls. Prepares sales reports and participates in weekly sales meetings. Works closely with fulfillment staff to ensure delivery of promised products. This position also promotes and sales of other specialty PHSS product lines (AEDs).
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Sells PHSS products and services to corporate, government, or not for profit customers. Seeks and acts upon leads and builds relationships with potential customers to bring them to close.
• Ensures productive and positive relationship with prospective customers.
• Explores and builds partner relationships with OneRedCross partners to develop and/or enhance business alliances (i.e. Chapter staff, Blood Services).
• Responsible for meeting assigned sales volume and profitability objectives.
• Responsible for operating within prescribed budget.
