POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Business Development sales position creates business opportunities by prospecting regional companies with a focus on manufacturing, industrial, health care, real estate and more.  The sales representative will be responsible for developing relationships with C-Level Executives, Building Owners, Business Owners, Property Managers, Facility Managers and Plant Engineers aimed at validating Simon Roofing’s value proposition.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Meet and exceed the established sales volume targets, both in contract orders and service, to enable the Branch to meet its goals.

·         Plan, develop and implement a strategy of Territory coverage to enable attainment of targeted levels of market penetration and client satisfaction.

·         Cold calling, executing on the Call Matrix (playbook) for success.

·         Develop and maintain product line knowledge and selling skills necessary to increase sales volume.

·         Influence the Gross Profit by accurate workups, timely communication with the customer and Production Manager, processing Change Orders when applicable, selection of targeted Simon Roof Systems, increasing service sales, and proper analysis of the existing roof system.

·         Responsible for timely completion of all Company and sales activity reports deemed necessary by management including, but not limited to, the following:

o    Utilize CRM software for daily planning and sales pipelines

o    Daily Effort Reports

o    Expense Reports

REQUIREMENTS

·         Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university with a focus in Marketing or Sales

 

CAPABILITIES

·         Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to do extensive research on the Internet.

·         Passionate, enthusiastic, high energy and internally motivated with a strong mindset.

·         Good verbal and written communication skills.
