ClearPath Diagnostics is a highly regarded, pathologist-owned and operated tissue pathology and cytology practice that is committed to providing the highest quality service and diagnostics. ClearPath has a long tradition of innovation in tissue pathology and cytology. We have provided anatomic pathology services in upstate New York since 1975.
ClearPath Diagnostics is seeking a dynamic individual to expand it service base across the upstate NY region. More specifically, the successful candidate will focus sales and marketing efforts in the Binghamton (southern tier region of New York State) and northern Pennsylvania markets. The ideal candidate will have a background in laboratory medicine, 3-5 years of prior sales experience preferably in healthcare or more specifically in laboratory sales, complimented with a highly professional demeanor and utmost ethical standards. The successful sales executive will consistently earn $100,000 or more per year.
Under the direct supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, and in conjunction with ClearPath’s senior management team, including our renowned pathologists, this outside field representative will perform general sales activity to recruit new physician and medical practice clients as well as upsell assigned accounts.
Position Expectations:
- Maintain the highest level of ethics and professionalism representing ClearPath while performing the duties of the position;
- Become knowledgeable of all facets of the ClearPath’s operation;
- Initiate visits to providers who aren’t current ClearPath Clients and conduct frequent follow-up with these providers;
- Periodically meet with the COO and management team on important sales marketing strategy matters;
- Facilitate the flow of information between new clients and appropriate ClearPath personnel;
- Develop data base of prospective clients using the Salesforce.com sales tool; formulate an initial sales plan for visiting perspective clients; periodically review the sales plan and prospects with ClearPath’s senior management team;
- Reflect knowledge about the local national market conditions as well as local national competitors;
- Consistently meet quotas as established in ClearPath’s compensation plan.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree and experience in healthcare required. The best candidates will have at least 3 - 5 years of anatomic pathology/laboratory sales experience.
COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience. A successful sales representative will consistently make more than $100,000 per year.
