About the Job
The Sales Representative works cooperatively with sales and other members of the Millwork team to enhance the level of customer service. Insure favorable results with production, shipping, production capabilities, product development, profitability and customer loyalty. This position is based in the Prineville, Oregon or Fruitland, Idaho location.
Primary Responsibilities
- Proven ability to develop, initiate, and execute strategies for sales.
- Utilize and maintain strong accountability measures to ensure success.
- Process customer orders by phone, fax, and internet with the ability to answer product inquiries and provide exceptional customer service while building and maintaining relationships with customers.
- Create and implement territory opportunities for team.
- Take ownership of the customer’s request or problem and achieve a resolution.
- Keep management informed about all sales areas, i.e., pricing, service complaints, competition, and new products.
- Assist in expanding business.
· Prepare quotes, credit terms, and sales contacts for orders obtained.
· Assist outside reps in daily activities in growing business i.e. quotes, credits, lead times, outgoing sales calls.
Qualifications Abilities
- BA degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Possess excellent time management, planning, organization, decision making, problem solving leadership skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with external and internal customers.
- Self-starter and highly motivated.
- Be aggressive yet consultative and results-oriented.
