Sales Representative Job in Indianapolis, Indiana US
Looking to get started in a new career ? Looking to make a career change altogether ? Entry level full-time sales position with Indianapolis based manufacturer of electronic pressure regulators and flow controllers. Responsible for taking inbound phone calls and applying products as needed. The successful high energy quick learner will be trained to be an outside regional sales manager and have the additional responsibility of a sales territory.
Key Responsibilities Application Engineering Inside Sales:
· Field customer and distributor product inquiries
· Apply products to technical applications
· Prepare product quotes
Eventual Regional Sales Manager Responsibilities after training:
· Develop relationship with distributor sales staff and principals
· Prepare and conduct sales presentations
· Train distributor sales people
· Plan and schedule visits with distributors
· Determine, prepare and implement sales tactics
Job Specifications and Qualifications:
· Possess -
· Good listening skills
· Exceptional communication skills
· Good math skills
· Basic electricity knowledge (a plus)
· Basic mechanical knowledge (a plus)
· Knowledge of fluid power pneumatics or controls (a plus)
· Desire/capability to learn technical products and how to apply them
· Enjoy being in front of people
· Willing to travel regularly
· Motivated to do what it takes to take care of customers
· Industrial sales experience is a plus
