Sales Resourcer

A national training provider of apprenticeship schemes is looking to add to their team, dealing with candidate attraction and recruitment.

You will be required to recruit, interview and assess candidates that have applied for apprenticeship vacancies and training opportunities, and engage with schools, colleges and other organisations to encourage referrals to the Business.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· To assess, interview and recruit candidates that have applied for apprenticeship vacancies and training opportunities.
· To deliver presentations to candidates, parents, career advisors and other key influencers.
· To coach and mentor candidates and provide advice and guidance throughout the recruitment process.
· To engage with schools, colleges, training providers and other organisations to encourage referrals to the business.
· To attend appropriate networking meetings as required.
· To provide feedback and support to candidates and ensure they are ‘interview ready’.
· To complete sign up/enrolment paperwork and initial assessments (as required).
· To support the promotion and growth of apprenticeships in the North East Region.

Salary and benefits attached to the role:
· £18,000 per annum, plus car allowance £3,000, plus commission structure

Qualifications/Experience/Skills required:
· A background knowledge of, or experience of working in Apprenticeships, funded training programmes, or recruitment is desirable.
· The Talent Resourcer should be able to identify the skills, aspirations and support needs of potential candidates and to match these to specific training or employment opportunities.
· The Talent Resourcer must be able to present persuasively.
· The Talent Resourcer should have a solid working knowledge of IT, including experience of using standard Microsoft Office packages. A more technical knowledge of IT would be an advantage.
· The Talent Resourcer may be required to work with learners to improve their employability skills, including interview techniques and CV/Application letter writing. Excellent written communication skills are therefore essential.
· Utilise and maintain client databases and vacancy listing at all times, to keep records up to date of interviews, applicants and to ensure the website is kept up to date.
· Portray a good public image and be polite, pleasant and professional as a representative of the organisation.
· Experience of working with young people is desirable

Subject to the duration of the need, the special conditions given below apply:
· The nature of the work may involve the post holder carrying out work outside of normal working hours.
· The nature of the work may involve the post holder travelling nationally and will require periods away from home.
· The post holder may be required to attend, from time to time, training courses, conferences, seminars or other meetings as required by his/her own training needs and the needs of the service.
· Expenses will be paid in accordance with conditions of service.
· This post is subject to a check being carried out at an ENHANCED level by the Criminal Records Bureau regarding any previous criminal record.
