Sales Service Representative

SUMMARY:
To provide excellent customer service support in order to increase sales and profits of the customer account base through effective telephone communication, problem resolution and proactive sales techniques.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Represent all product lines through telephone interaction with key accounts and account base in a timely and professional manner
2. Utilize proactive sales techniques to meet/exceed customer expectations
3. Resolve customer complaints and problems
4. Maintain daily follow up and tracking reports
5. Manage time and organize work to maximize completion of daily work responsibilities.
6. Learn, understand and implement department policy and procedures
7. Maintain daily tracking reports of criteria used by management in measuring growth activities.
8. Refer unusual or complex requests to supervisor
9. Provide necessary product explanation or research as needed by customer

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* High school degree required. Associate's or bachelors degree preferred
* 2 years customer service experience/sales experience
* Knowledge of safety products helpful but willing to train
* Basic computer understanding including MS Word and Excel; knowledge of SAP is helpful
* Excellent communication and organization skills required
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multitask
