Sales Strategy and Operations Manager

Amazon.com is looking for an exceptionally bright, organized, and self-directed Senior Business Analyst to support the US Advertising Sales team. This position offers the ability to help drive the performance of the rapidly growing Advertising business, provide insights into strategy for the business and opportunity for growth within the sales organization and Amazon. The Sales Business Analyst will contribute to Amazon?s success by partnering with Sales Management and Leadership to understand field performance, uncover untapped opportunities, and drive insights to product teams and leadership which inform future strategy and changes in process, thus increasing the effectiveness of the entire sales organization. Key responsibilities for this position include: Analyze key sales performance indicators on an on-going basis to highlight issues or opportunities. Perform analysis and provide recommendations to improve sales results (sales channel distribution, product sales efforts, sales compensation, etc). Lead projects to improve information flows between field sales, product management, finance, and business leadership. Work cross functionally to ensure key issues are being resolved to improve sales performance. Lead and drive planning activities the advertising sales. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities and business acumen with an ability to work with a field based sales organization. Problem solving, project management, and organization skills is very important to the success of this role.
