For our customer in Rotterdam we are looking for an
Sales Support Clerk (M/V)
The function
Fulfilling daily requirements of supporting the Customer Service team in closing purchase orders commercially and liaise between Customer Service and Finance. As well, the Sales Support team should detect and follow up on ’anomalies’ in the order process. The emphasis is placed on timeliness and accuracy whilst working in a small team. The Sales Support Clerk should have good understanding of the Customer Service and AP processes and be comfortable with a high-paced working environment.
· Besides before mentioned tasks you will be back up for reception when our Administrative Assistant is out of the office.
· Assist in the commercial close of purchase orders by verifying shipping line loading lists with supplier packing lists (container numbers, weights, seal numbers and bale count)
· Check that all containers in a PO are on the vessel by comparing the packing list with the on board information of the shipping lines
· Handle packing list revisions in coordination with our head office in Los Angeles
· File weight tickets and customs documents
· Manage incoming pictures by downsizing them where needed, filing them and tracking the correct reference when that is missing
· Handle the first and second closing of a PO file
· Archiving PO files when the completed files released by Customer Service
· Willingness to accept all related admin support work that can reasonably be expected in this position.

· Asnwer the phone
· Welcome guests
· Make sure the office environment (meetings rooms, canteen etc) are neat and clean
We request
· MBO education or equivalent
· 0-2 years relevant working experience
· Language skills (speaking, reading, writing): Dutch and English
· Strong administration, communication and organizational skills
· Personality: critical approach, efficient and accurate
· Accuracy and efficiency in handling large quantities of data
