Mutual of Omaha Investor Services (MOIS) is an insurance-based broker dealer providing support to our corporate partners (Agency Sales and Group Benefit Services). MOIS Operations are governed under the rules of the SEC, FINRA, MSRB, and state securities departments. Sales Support Consultant (Mutual of Omaha Investor Services) - Provides sales consultation and support to Registered Reps and Investment Advisor Reps in the areas of wealth accumulation and retirement distribution planning through investment products. Build relationships with the producers, Agency Sales and product carriers in order to achieve and maximize sales results and profitability. Supports sales of all securities products offered through MOIS in both non-qualified and the retirement distribution planning markets in retail and managed accounts. Assist financial professionals in meeting their strategic sales plans by supporting their client investment activities and account set-up and maintenance functions direct with product sponsors as well as on our brokerage clearing platform and supporting production in each investment product category. Provides service and support for distribution channels, responding to questions regarding products and processes, trouble-shooting error situations as necessary to ensure producers have the support necessary to maintain strong relationships with their clients. Contributes to producer retention through promotion and maintenance of positive relationships with producers. Identifies and assists in the resolution of various product and/or service provider issues or concerns. Proactively contacts MOIS Registered Representatives and Advisors to build relationships, provides product information, motivates and promotes sales ideas to contribute to sales objectives and initiatives. Assists with investment product sales and account support training for various producer levels in the assigned distribution channel, which focus on product details, business processing and qualified market opportunities. Training formats include: conference calls, web learning, classroom discussion, audio/visual, and one on one education. Extensive training applies to new representatives and ongoing training applies to senior producrers. Obtains and analyzes solicited and unsolicited feedback from producers to enhance marketing strategies and further promote the sale of investment products. Provides input and recommendations in the development of strategies in order to generate additional sales opportunities. Keeps abreast of trends within the investment product marketplace to include: marketing, sales and compliance of securities products. Communicates any potential impact and/or opportunity to producers.
