Sales Support Coordinator Job in Bolton, North West UK
My client in Bolton is looking to recruit a Sales Support Coordinator.
It is really a dual role:
1. Supporting the field sales team in ensuring all the sales orders are accurately processed, recorded and reported on
2. Taking responsibility for various “house accounts” and ultimately progressing to becoming an “Account Manager” with the requirement to achieve targets for a designated group of established Accounts
The role would suit a fairly outgoing personality who wants to “get on”, but at the same time you need to have the attributes of a detailed “dot I’s, cross T’s” person as it is vital that the data is accurately set up and maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Processing Sales Orders
2. Ensuring all the Pricing is correct
3. Liaising with the warehouse over customer deliveries and bookings
4. Maintaining Customer stock and sales reports
5. Updating / preparing the monthly forecasts for the General Sales Manager
6. Accurately recording all promotional etc pricing – i.e. SOA deals, Mark Downs etc
7. Sending out samples
8. Booking Travel and Hotels
9. Work with Design team to “fine tune” sales tools?
10. Support the General Sales Manager at Monthly Sales Meetings
11. Support Sales Team with customer communication where/if required
12. Progress towards responsibility for own customer account management
Skills, knowledge and experience:
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of dealing with individuals at all levels, and of representing the company to a high standard.
- Good time management and personal discipline skills to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, in particular Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
