Responsible for the management of the Australian Customer Sales Support Team (CSS), as well as the administration of tenders, national purchasing contracts/ agreements and ensuring the provision of adequate service, support information to the management and sales team within Australia and externally for customers.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing CSS Team and allocating staff resource effectively in order to achieve the agreed goals of the group, whilst staying within the budget set for assigned cost centre. 
  • Day-to-day activity planning, supervising, and performing the following:
  • Customer order processing
  • Consignment loan agreements
  • Customer pricing / discount
  • Complaints and product return handling
  • Servicing and repairs
  • Loan and Hire Service for hospitals in NSW and SA
  • Provide training and support
  • KPI performance monitoring and annual performance reviews
  • Ensuring necessary compliance approvals are sought
  • Responsible for the recruitment of new CSS staff, appraising the performance of existing team members and effecting disciplinary procedures where necessary.
  • Gatekeeper for the administration of contract tenders, special pricing agreements and national purchasing agreements ensuring that deadlines are adhered to and accurate company information is submitted.
  • Perform ad hoc sales analysis at the request of the management or sales team to identify key trends/ customer habits/ gross margins/ performance analysis
  • Responsible for the planning and implementation of Special Projects designated by the Sales Operations Manager

Selection Criteria

  • Management experience in similar background
  • Extensive experience in customer service
  • Able to relate to internal and external stakeholders
  • SAP experience will be most highly regarded
  • Problem solving skills and ability to lead a small team
