Sales Support recruitment
Principal Accountabilities:
- Provide sales support to the Solutions Distribution team and act as a first point of call, in the Distributions Manager’s absence, for all Solutions distribution queries with the aim of providing a high level of service to prospective clients and investment consultants
- Project manage the distribution process from internal prospecting meetings with relationship managers, to reviewing tender documents and following up on action points post sales meetings undertaken by the Distribution Manager.
- Attend meetings and conference calls as required to assist in the Distribution process both internal and external.
- Understand the role derivatives play in pension fund risk management and be able to articulate this to clients and consultants when required. This will include building a high level understanding of our Solutions offering and keeping abreast of current derisking market conditions for discussion with clients and consultants.
• Work proactively with key stakeholders within the business to increase new business flows. This will include liaising with the fund management teams on the design of solutions and responding to technical risk management queries as well as identifying business opportunities and threats.
• Conduct pre meeting research for the Distribution Manager and complete presentation material to a high standard, using your knowledge of the client and our Solutions
• Maintain excellent working relationships around key business areas at all times
Candidate Requirements
Minimum degree level education and IMC, CFA desirable
Demonstratable Sales Support Experience in an asset management role
Strong interpersonal presentation skills
Report writing experience and experience of drafting investment strategy documents i.e. implementation of LDI strategies
Excellent Microsoft excel skills
