ROLE SYNOPSIS
Baker Hughes, located in Bakersfield, CA, is seeking a candidate for a SALES SUPPORT SPECIALIST position. This position is an 8:00am-5:00pm position with some overtime and weekends required as needed position will require good computer skills, an attention to detail, and candidate will eventually be given a few small accounts to develop and support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Will sell products and services to new or existing customers in the field.
- Will maintain a variety of large and small accounts
- Computer skills needed to complete paperwork for accounts
- Will act as a liaison between Account Managers and Field Offices.
- Will follow up on orders, credits and complete necessary paperwork.
- Special projects as needed.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
- Strong inter-personal skills
- Communication skills and customer awareness
- Attention to detail
- Computer skills in MSOffice
- Industry and product line knowledge
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Sales and/or Account Management experience
- Industry knowledge
