Sales Support (UK clients) for European Asset Manager – London recruitment

The firm is headquartered in Europe with a smaller London office, you will be responsible for coordination of the sales teams between offices, working closely with a number of internal departments, both in the UK and abroad. You will be responsible for:

•             Dealing with incoming client/prospective client queries

•             Assisting in winning commitment for proposals

•             Support the team in reaching overall objectives and targets

•             Development and updating of marketing and communications materials

•             Assisting with client communications, both verbal and written and competitor analysis

•             Keep abreast of changes in the market, products and regulations

The successful candidate for this position will likely demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

•             An understanding of the asset management and alternative investment industry with previous work experience, most likely in a client service, RFP or sales support type role

•             Previous experience in client communications/marketing and communications

•             Outstanding organisation abilities

•             Previous experience of Lipper/Morningstar would be beneficial but is not essential

•             German language skills would be beneficial but are not a pre-requisite
