Under limited supervision, develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales of products and services.
Selects the correct products or assist customers in making product selections based on customers' needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations. Negotiates prices and terms of sales and service agreements. Insures high post-sales satisfaction, facilitating positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers. Sets account and territory plans on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis. Generally develops business with key or named accounts and may lead dedicated account teams. May coach and mentor less experienced sales representatives.
Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent. Requires at least 5 years sales experience including substantial industry-specific sales experience.
Requires expert abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time. Requires knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems. Knows principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Effective at written and verbal communication. Requires substantial industry and product knowledge. Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
Job Requirements:
The Commercial HVAC Sales Territory Manager position will be located in the Nashville, TN and work in the surrounding area. District offices are located in Charlotte, NC.

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook. Strong team orientation and driven to achieve sales and corporate goals. Must be capable of demonstrating the entire product line and committed to bringing value to customers. Consistency in developing customer relationships. Able to design and execute a business plan for territory. Must always prospect for new customers.
General duties/responsibilities will entail the following: Key relationship builder to sell Lennox products and parts to our contractors customers. Prospect for and develop new customers, and deliver value by conducting product and sales training for contractor personnel. Develop and grow the market share, provide competitive analysis and implement coordinated managed initiatives consistent with Lennox policies, accomplishing profit objectives and maintenance of customer focused relationships.
Candidate must demonstrate high integrity and have the ability to represent Lennox Industries to the customer base to produce an outcome of achieving the sales goals of the company. Individual will also perform the following duties: Deliver a high level of customer service to existing accounts and identify changing trends in the marketplace; Strong planning skills to accomplish timely quotation submittals, value driven sales presentations and customer training to ensure attainment of the annual sales, gross profit and margin goals.
Strong product knowledge and presentation skills are necessary to achieve these results. Individual must have the ability to work with little direct supervision while at the same time to demonstrate ability to work well as a member of the overall sales team.
Individual must demonstrate solid computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Windows, and PowerPoint). Other essential duties include: This position requires extensive automotive travel to contractor sites. Lifting of boxes and training materials, at times to exceed 50 pounds.
